CERBERUS

You need one key from each provider. Both take about five minutes and a bank card. You pay each provider directly for what you use — most people's usage costs a few pounds a month, and you can set spending caps on both sites.

OpenAI key (powers Sarah)

1. Go to platform.openai.com and sign in, or create an account. This is separate from ChatGPT — a ChatGPT Plus subscription does not include API credit.
2. Open Settings → Billing and add a payment method or buy a small amount of credit (5 US dollars is plenty to start).
3. Open API keys (left menu) and choose Create new secret key. Name it CERBERUS and create it.
4. Copy the key immediately — it starts with sk- and is shown only once.
5. Paste it into the OpenAI (Sarah) box below and press Save.

Anthropic key (powers Claude)

1. Go to console.anthropic.com and sign in, or create an account. This is separate from the Claude app — a Claude subscription does not include API credit.
2. Open Billing and add a payment method or buy a small amount of credit.
3. Open API Keys and choose Create Key. Name it CERBERUS and create it.
4. Copy the key immediately — it starts with sk-ant- and is shown only once.
5. Paste it into the Anthropic (Claude) box below and press Save.

Good to know: treat keys like passwords — never share them or post them anywhere. CERBERUS checks each key with its provider when you save it, stores it encrypted, and only ever shows the last four characters again. You can replace or delete your keys here at any time. If a key stops working (for example, you deleted it on the provider's site or ran out of credit), just create a new one and save it here.
